Bradford on Avon will host the Kennet & Avon Canal’s first ever floating market this summer.
The arrival of trading boats will transform the town’s picturesque wharf into a bustling waterway market selling everything from jewellery, furniture, crafts and food over the weekend of the 30/31 July
Boats confirmed so far include a floating hair salon, the Dawdling Dairy – selling ice cream and cheese – and a number of artisan boats, selling leather goods, artwork and homeware.
“We’re very pleased to be supporting the Kennet & Avon Canal’s first ever floating market, and excited to welcome trading boats from along its length to Bradford on Avon”, said waterway manager for the Canal & River Trust, Mark Evans
