This month we focus on holidays, and what a magnificent start, ABC Boat Hire is very generously, giving away a boating holiday worth £2,000.

CRT welcomes new members to their Council leads the news this month which is followed by our reader photos, which are superb. The Boat Test features a 57ft cruiser named Halewick and built by MGM and then we have a piece on the Waterways Recovery Group who toiled over Christmas on the derelict Buckingham Canal.

We then carry on with the holiday theme with some suggestions for boating breaks, which is followed by the Cruise Guide on the Llangollen Canal. Another possibility for a short break is next as we take a cruise along the Mid Worcestershire Ring.

Our marina visit this time, is Kings Bromley Waterside and Marina in Staffordshire and in our final feature we remember Sue Day who sadly passed away in October 2023, Sue was one of the leading campaigners for horseboating on the waterways.
