The Canal & River Trust is offering the opportunity to visit one of their Open Days to learn more about how they repair and care for canals.
Set foot where visitors aren’t usually allowed and explore the bottom of a drained lock. Or watch specialist teams at work as they restore heritage features and monitor the wildlife and habitats our canals support. You’ll also meet experts and volunteers to hear more about the important work of the Canal & River Trust.
Three Open Days have been confirmed: with one at Leeds River Lock this November and a further two at Caen Hill, near Devizes and Hatton in Warwickshire which will take place in February.
