This is for the purpose of undertaking remedial works which include, footpath and road closure, strip off existing tarmac deck and carry out steelwork repairs, patch paint and repainting of rails, re-surface tarmac bridge deck, and inspection works of underside using floating pontoons, patch paint and repainting of steelwork underneath, as required. Works have been deliberately programmed to coincide with Marmont Priory Lock closure, immediately upstream, to reduce any inconvenience.
Other parts of the Middle Level Navigations, not subject to closure during these periods, will remain open. Should the above works be completed before 11th April 2025, Hall Bridge navigation will be re-opened.
